Russia will continue to provide humanitarian aid to Transnistria, Russian Foreign Ministry official Vyacheslav Kovalenko said in Moscow today.

Russia does not intend to set this matter aside, he said. A number of Russian regions have voiced their readiness to support the people of Transnistria, the diplomat has stated, noting that the situation in the conflict zone remained rather intense.
