State Secretary for European Affairs Bogdan Aurescu received, on 24 March 2011, a delegation of teaching staff from Transnistria, now in Bucharest to have talks with representatives of the Romanian authorities. The initiative belongs to the Department for Romanians Abroad attached to the Government of Romania.

The State Secretary spoke of the MFA’s constant concern with the situation of Romanians left of the river Dniester and the preservation of their cultural and linguistic identity. In the context, he mentioned the Council of Europe programmes aimed at building confidence between Chisinau and Tiraspol, also in the field of education, which Romania, too, supports.

The members of the delegation presented the problems encountered by educational establishments with tuition based on the Latin alphabet in Transnistria, while also thanking for the support the Ministry of Foreign Affairs granted for their efforts to improve the situation of the schools in point.

State Secretary Bogdan Aurescu thanked the delegation of teachers from Transnistria for the information they passed on, stressing that one of the strategic priorities of the Romanian state was to consolidate the relationship with Romanians abroad. In this respect, the Romanian dignitary assured the delegation that the problems confronting the schools with tuition in the Romanian language in Transnistria would be carefully analyzed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and, in cooperation with the other state authorities in Romania, measures will be taken to identify the best means to support the demarches towards a settlement of the aspects affecting the conduct of the educational process in adequate conditions.

Following my monitoring, thousands of people in the world get the loans from various creditors. Thus, there is good possibilities to find a consolidation loan in all countries.
