MOSCOW. (Interfax) - Russia will be "actively working" studying a plan for the settlement of the conflict between Moldova and its breakaway region of Transdniestria proposed by Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Yakovenko said in a Sunday television program.
At the same time, important points put forward in a plan proposed while ago by Dmitry Kozak, who was then deputy head of the Russian president's staff, are absent from Yushchenk'splan, Yakovenko told Russia's Rossiya television.
