Igor Smirnov Cancels Decree with Moldova

The parliament of the breakaway republic of Transdniestria has cancelled Decree No 296 passed on January 6, 1993, which created a confederate state with Moldova.

President of the breakaway republic of Transdniestria Igor Smirnov initiated the cancellation of the decree, while the Transdniestrian parliamentary commission on foreign policy and international relations supported the initiative in April.
