Lavrov Speaks With Moratinos On Russia Position

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has discussed the situation in Transdniestria with OSCE Chairman-in- Office and Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement published on Wednesday.

"Moratinos informed Lavrov on the results of his recent visit as OSCE chairman-in-office to Moldova. The ministers exchanged views on the Transdniestrian settlement," the statement reads.

The parties also discussed the most topical issues related to the OSCE's activities in the preparation for the meeting of its Council of Foreign Ministers scheduled to take place in Madrid on November 29 - 30.
