Interfax Russia - Moscow, Russia

BUCHAREST. Nov 8 (Interfax) - Moscow is proposing a roadmap to settle the Transdniestrian conflict in accordance with President Yushchenk'splan, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"We raised the issue and confirmed our support for Yushchenk'splan, we said that along with our Ukrainian colleagues and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) we will participate in expediting the principles," Lavrov said, at a briefing following negotiations with Romanian Foreign Minister Mihai Razvan Ungureanu on Tuesday.

"We have unofficial proposals that could be called a roadmap and they are aimed not only at making the parties negotiate, but also at making them progress on the principles," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
