MOSCOW. Nov 10 (Interfax) - Russia is interested in the earliest possible withdrawal of armaments from Transdniestria, but problems in the Transdniestria-Moldova negotiations are hampering the pullout, director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's second department for the CIS Vyacheslav Kovalenko said on Thursday.
"We are very interested in the withdrawal of the remaining property, but that can be done only with progress in the Transdniestria settlement negotiations," he said.
"An improvement in relations between Chisinau and Tiraspol will help with the withdrawal of the remaining military property," Kovalenko said.
