Should the world acknowledge Transnistria as an independent country?

	Yes, absolutely - if that's what the people want!
	Perhaps, after some changes.

Ukraine considers the presidential election in Transdniestria and its outcome illegitimate and doesnt recognize it.

The international community proceeds from the fact that the Sunday "presidential election", as well as the September "referendum", contradict international norms and standards, UN and OSCE principles, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry press service's commentary said.
The "presidential election", as well as the September "referendum" are illegitimate and do not promote regulation of the Transdniestrian conflict, in general, the commentary says.

Ukraine didnt send any official observers to the election. Some Ukrainian politicians were reported to visit Tiraspol on that day, as private persons.Ukraine reiterates the need of settling the conflict peacefully, observing Moldova's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
