Ukraine's Special Representative for Transnistria Settlement Viktor Kryzhanivskyi participated in the Meeting of the CEI Ministers of Foreign Affairs (Central European Initiative) in Chisinau, Moldova.

The meeting participants discussed CEI activity, namely the CEI Activity Report 2008, reforms realization pace, a possibility for enlargement of the CEI Cooperation Fund, as well as the state of implementation of multilateral projects and cooperation programs, UKRINFORM reports citing the MFA press-service.

In his speech, V. Kryzhanivskyi stressed CEI's significance as an important instrument in enhancing cooperation among the member states in line with their national priorities and promoting Eurointegration for CEI member states - non-EU member states. He also noted that within execution of these tasks there is a need for strengthening cooperation between the Central European Initiative and the European Union, as well as other regional organizations.
