Ukraine and Moldova mean to step up cooperation in trade - economic sphere
An agreement on holding a session of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian -Moldovan Commission to tackle the most challenging issues of the Ukrainian - Moldovan cooperation in the commercial domain,was reached at a meeting between Ukrainian and Moldovan Presidents in Vilnius.

Viktor Yushchenko and Vladimir Voronin also discussed regulation of the Transdniestrian conflict and the situation at the Ukrainian - Moldovan borderline. Viktor Yushchenko stressed inviolability of Ukraine's position on Transdniestria. The parties believe it is necessary to address the European Commission with a request of technical aid in developing the borderline.
